Catholic Women in Community is a group of women that focuses on building community to encourage each other in daily life and grow in our faith. We facilitate various programs throughout the year to support this mission. Most of our activities are spiritual growth studies, Bible Studies, book groups, devotionals, prayer groups, etc. All of our activities are peer-led and adapt to accommodate the needs of the current members. You are welcome to join in for as much or as little as you like!
Our Fall Kickoff will be in the SVDP PAC Dining Room on Tuesday, Sept 10, at 7:30pm.
If you're new to our group, the Kick-Off is a great way to determine if it's right for you! If you're a returning member, we're excited to celebrate the start of another year with you!
At the Kick-Off, we will:
Introduce our group and review the guidelines we use for this ministry
Spend some time getting to know other women in our parish
Break into small groups for discussion questions, similar to our regular meetings
Review the two different programs that will be offered this fall, and allow women to sign up for the one that is best for them. The groups meet generally every other week, one on Wednesday nights, and the other Thursday nights.
Feel free to bring a snack or drink to share.
Please RSVP by emailing [email protected] if you plan to attend the Fall Kickoff!
If you're unable to attend the kickoff, but would like to join the group, please leave your information below. After the kickoff, we will send details about the fall programs via email, and invite you to sign up for whichever one is best for you. Also, you'll continue to get emails whenever we schedule other events, such as social nights, because we'd love to have you join us, in whatever capacity you can.
